Illegaard on üks Tartu vanimatest baaridest, mida on nimetatud läbi aegade tõeliseks Tartu elu pulsiks. Sisustuselt tagasihoidlik, klientuurilt läbinisti rahvusvaheline, tuues iga aasta baari uusi noori ja vanu, kõiki, kes vähekenegi tahavad tunda melu läbi aasta.

Sõbralik teenindus, maitsvad pubi-toidud ja hea seltskond, head õlled, huvitavad shotid, ohtlikud ja mitte nii ohtlikud kokteilid, Illegaard on koht kus näeb Tartut tema parimas vormis.

Olenemata sellest, kas huvi on keelt pisut märjaks ajada, loova inimese kombel õlle kõrvale läpakaga tööd teha või ridamisi kolmelt erinevalt ekraanilt jalkaülekandeid vaadata, Illegaard pakub võimalusi selleks kõigeks.

Ka kõige nukramatel õhtutel, kui linn on tühi ja pubiski vaid mõni inimene, on lauajalgpalli ümbrus alati täis inimesi, kes üksteisega jõudu katsuvad.

Riietu sinulikult, kohapeal on nähtud inimesi nii bikiinides kui ka sügelema ajavates karupükstes.

Illegaardi on nii mõnegi külastaja poolt nimetatud Tartu parimaks pubiks, seda nii toidu, teeninduse, kui ka seda külastava seltskonna poolest. Keldrisse on ära eksinud nii rohkem kui tasemel bändid, Erasmuse Beer Bingo fännid kui ka massides tudengeid, kes eelkõige just talvisel ajal on Illegaardi valinud pubiks kus käia.
